Worms for Peace - A Cooee! podcast update from the West Bank

Last June, I shared news about our Earthworm project in Palestine in "Global Worming" with Sara Moledor. Sara went out to the West Bank in September with my good mate Julien Troussier. Sara stayed on and got the project up and running. In December, she headed home for Christmas but before doing that, I managed to catch a moment with her and Julien to record this Cooee! podcast update - Worms for Peace.

Why "Worms for Peace"? Because we believe that if we work to heal the land, we stand a chance of healing the relationships between people. Fingers crossed.

In the podcast, I mention Sara's blogs. They really are a great read. With titles like:

  • The things you think about when emptying toilets"

  • "My first kidnapping"

  • "Roads that traverse space and time" and

  • "Let your nose feast on this"..

...as well as Photo Journals, Sara invites us to experience her West Bank life in an intimate way. She really can write Sara so I hope you can find a moment to visit the site. You'll learn more about the project and you'll find Sara's blogs in the "notes from the field" tab.

Julien and Sara are together at the Karama Centre as from today. I'm looking forward to hearing more about their work with the good people there.
