The Big 7

once upon a time…

Over the past twenty years I’ve been privileged to have been involved in some fascinating projects that have led to significant, often unprecedented breakthroughs and global “firsts.” I’ve engaged with thousands of companies in the far distant reaches of globally dispersed supply chains, up river, deep in remote forest concessions, but also in grand offices and hotels in capital cities where company leaders assemble out of sight, in dark rooms to mull ways forward.

Like every life, I have an assembled “Best Hits” group that are foundational for my career.

There are seven major projects is this “Best Hits” list. I call them, “The Big 7.”

Here in this section, I’ll write some text about each of the Big 7 with a view to sharing the context and lessons from the projects so that others, grappling with their own challenges, can perhaps find ideas and ways that could help them move their projects forward. Essential to reaching some sort of “success” in all of these projects has been this “different way of being” I so often talk about and of course the Duck and efforts to whisper it forth from folk bunkered down and under attack from all sides.

I hope you enjoy my reflections on these projects. Do feel free to fire in questions or thoughts. I continue to learn new lessons from these experiences every time I go over them in my mind.

I still have to write up these Case Studies so apologies that none of the click through buttons work yet. I’m onto that though and step my step I’ll post content here.
