I believe in the power of business…

So much of my experience supporting business leaders over the past 20 years (see “About” page) has confirmed that businesses can be huge forces for good when leaders live from their own Values. Sadly, the opposite is also true. When disconnected from those Values and driven only by short-term profit goals, they can cause so much harm.

I’ve spent my life inspiring company leaders to do better. I’ve helped leaders manage deep crises created by NGO attacks leading to major policy shifts. I’ve supported leaders to better understand and interact with external stakeholders like NGOs and communities, building better relationships in the process. I’ve reviewed company sustainability performance and reported back to company leaders, developing innovative and inspiring new sustainability programs and supporting their implementation in the field. Lastly, I’ve supported organisation-wide capacity building programs, helping company leaders implement their bold, ground-breaking policies.

I’m not everyone’s “cup of tea”. I’m a natural innovator, a problem solver and serial risk taker. To leap with me, so often into the unknown, and go beyond what NGOs or their customers ask, company leaders have to be ready to trust not only in data, but in their own intuition and also in me. I don’t just work with you, I build relationship - with you as a leader, with your senior executives, your managers, all the way down to the plant floor. I get to know your stakeholders too and from all these places, I help you find a way forward.

I’m continuing to pioneer new innovations (like My Carbon Zero) while continuing to help business leaders get connected to, and get their entire organisations aligned with, their Values.
